SEB is a leading financial services group with a passion for developing our colleagues. One of the ways we deliver on that is by involving university students in various programmes. These programmes are very important gateways into SEB and great opportunities to get to know us, work hard, develop, and show us your skills and passion. Does that sound like a fit for you? Now the leading investment bank in the Nordic countries is seeking Corporate Finance Interns. Our industry leading Corporate Finance Internship Programme for students (with >100 ECTS) is the key element of our junior recruiting. We are now hiring interns for spring, summer and autumn 2022. We offer an international work environment within financial markets and investment banking, a steep learning curve and competitive benefits. Our success is based on the skills of our professionals, which we respect as our most valuable asset.
What you will be doing
Your responsibilities as an intern are comparable to those of our junior professionals. As a part of our team you are responsible for providing financial and strategic advice of the highest standard in M&A and equity capital market transactions to the leading Finnish and international corporations, private equity firms and other financial investors.
Who we are looking for
We appreciate that you are analytical, hard-working, willing to learn and accurate in your work. You show great interest in finance through your academic studies and have a true team-player attitude, good communication skills and excellent command of both Finnish and English.
What we offer
We are 300 colleagues in Finland, working at our activity-based office in the centre of Helsinki. Our office is designed for us – to support good collaboration and wellbeing at work. We are proud of our high engagement and job satisfaction. At SEB you can combine the opportunities of an international organisation with the responsibility, flexibility and variety of tasks enabled by our relatively small and thus agile teams in Helsinki. It is our fundamental belief that inclusion and diversity is crucial for our future success. We strive to have an inclusive, value-driven culture where employees feel valued, respected and involved irrespective of who they are, what they believe or where they come from.
